CARROLTON, April 27, 2026 — The Carrolton Village Council handled routine business and voted unanimously on a set of motions during its April 27 meeting.
Councilmember Barto moved to excuse the absent councilmember Parker; Butterfield seconded. The roll call vote recorded Lambert, Locke, Tangler, Barto and Butterfield voting yes; the motion carried 5-0.
Locke moved to approve the minutes of the April 13, 2026 meeting; Tangler seconded. The roll call vote recorded Barto, Butterfield, Lambert, Locke and Tangler voting yes; the motion carried 5-0.
Locke then moved to approve payment of bills; Tangler seconded. The roll call vote again recorded Barto, Butterfield, Lambert, Locke and Tangler voting yes; the motion carried 5-0. Council later approved payment of bills without prior certification after a motion from Lambert and a second from Butterfield; the roll call vote was recorded as Lambert, Locke, Tangler, Barto and Butterfield voting yes; the motion carried 5-0.
With no further business, Locke moved to adjourn at 7:03 P.M.; Tangler seconded. Roll call vote recorded Barto, Butterfield, Lambert, Locke and Tangler voting yes; motion carried 5-0. The minutes were signed by Clerk Darla Tipton and Mayor William J. Stoneman and published on the Village of Carrolton website.
