Several supervisors, including Miss Hansen, supported the idea as a way to develop a long‑term vision and to improve recreational offerings for children and adults, though some expressed caution about eventual costs and potential membership fees. Supervisors asked staff and Dr. Leming to return with a proposed membership list and scope for the group.
The motion was carried by consensus rather than a formal roll‑call vote. Staff said the work will be iterative and that the project, if pursued, would require detailed feasibility, budgeting, and public input.
