The Long View School Board approved Policy 3425, “accommodating students with adrenal insufficiency,” during the May 11 meeting after a third reading and recommendation from district staff.
Administrators said the policy is a WASDA model adapted with input from district nurses and the district attorney. Following a motion and a second, no board questions remained and the board adopted the policy by voice vote.
District staff recommended adoption and told the board they had not received community questions or comments on the policy since the prior meeting. The board did not record a roll-call tally in the meeting minutes provided in the transcript; the motion passed by voice vote and was recorded as approved.
