El Ricky owner tells council restaurant will open in about two months
Jose Burrito, owner of Modern Vegan Cuisine LLC (DBA El Ricky), told the Bellflower City Council that earlier cash-flow issues delayed opening but he expects to open the restaurant in about two months, and council moved and approved the consent calendar after pulling item 15D for discussion.

At a consent-calendar hearing on Feb. 23, Jose Burrito, identified as the property and business owner of Modern Vegan Cuisine LLC (DBA El Ricky), told the Bellflower City Council that cash-flow constraints had slowed his restaurant's opening but that he expects to open “probably like two months at the most.”
