The Mukwonago School District board on Oct. 28 considered three requests from families to relocate school bus stops (two driveway stop requests and one driveway-to-driveway move) and voted to deny all three after the administration recommended denial for safety reasons.
Administration staff reviewed the map locations and said the current stops are in designated walking zones with 25 mph limits and no unusual hazards. A board member moved to deny all three requests; after a second the motion passed by voice vote.
Board minutes show Craig recused himself from discussion of one request because of a personal connection to a parent; no alternative accommodations or follow-up directions were recorded in the minutes.
