Mills County commissioners opened sealed bids May 11 for the County Road 189 box culvert project and read three proposals into the record. The bids received included Carlisle Finson & Dozer Service ($278,000), Gage & Cave Construction ($227,310) and a $219,828 lump-sum bid from Myers/Byers Concrete.
