County OKs conditional‑use permit to allow second house on farmstead

The applicant said the new house would be self‑sufficient with its own well and septic and that both houses would remain.
After one public speaker and brief applicant remarks, the board moved to approve the permit as recommended by the zoning board; a roll call vote recorded all members present voting in favor.
The decision permits the family’s farming succession plan while leaving standard zoning compliance and any future permit conditions to established county procedures.
