Board hears jail population update; talks with Saunders County continue on housing contract
During a brief Board of Corrections session the Board heard there are 53 inmates in custody with the majority housed out of county; County Attorney Hopkins said negotiations continue with Saunders County Corrections on a housing contract.

The Dodge County Board briefly met as the Board of Corrections on May 13 and received an update on inmate housing. Supervisor Beam reported 53 inmates in custody: 29 held in Saunders County, 19 in Washington County, one in Pottawattamie County, one in Dodge County, one at the Lincoln Regional Center and two with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services in Lincoln.
