Senate Finance panel advances bill to require electronic visit verification for Medicaid services
The Senate Finance Committee adopted an A1 amendment and voted to pass Senate File 4400, which would require electronic visit verification (EVV) for certain Medicaid services identified by the Department of Human Services. The bill was sent to the Senate floor by voice vote.

Senator Sarah Mohammed presented Senate File 4400 to the Minnesota Senate Finance Committee on May 16, saying the bill would require electronic visit verification (EVV) for services the Department of Human Services identified as vulnerable to fraud and misuse. "Senate file 4,400 is vehicle for electronic visit verification language," she said.
