Mooreland Fire Department asks county for help finding funds for emergency generator

Council members advised Beal to discuss generator and shelter funding avenues with the county's emergency management (EMA) director and the local health department, which handle federal and state grant opportunities for emergency sheltering and related equipment. One council member suggested a used generator might be available from Prairie Township Fire Department.
Beal said most project funding is going to station construction and that the department would appreciate county assistance locating resources or donated equipment; council members asked staff to follow up with EMA and health department contacts and to report back if funding or equipment options are found.
