District project staff told trustees the Rex Weech project is progressing on schedule and is expected to be complete by Sept. 30. Mr. Laffier, the presenter for the update, said the training center structure is "essentially complete," rainwater leaders are about 80% installed, and work is ongoing on framing, stucco and mechanical, electrical and plumbing in the concession/museum building. He noted scaffolding has been installed for stucco work and that some cameras and drone overhead shots shown to the board were taken within the past week.
