Paw Paw Council appointments and local project updates; Direct Line permit suspended

Council appointed Eric Cook to the DDA Board, noted Barbara Carpenter as the new DDA chair, discussed a Maple Island reopening tied to a parks millage renewal, reported Briggs Dam progress and Elm Street bidding, suspended Direct Line’s fiber-boring permit after infrastructure damage, and heard that the police department passed a LEIN audit while Office Manager Marler will be on medical leave starting March 2.
