Langhorne Borough Council recorded unanimous votes on multiple routine and substantive items at its April 8 meeting.The council approved the consent agenda (minutes, bills, and an event permit) on a motion by Councilperson Sean Mundy, seconded by Councilperson Bob Cumming, and approved the March Treasurer’s Report on a motion by Councilperson Bob Cumming, seconded by Councilperson Kate Transue.The council unanimously voted to advertise the Maple Avenue & Green Street Crosswalk Project (mover: Bob Cumming; second: Kate Transue). It authorized ARRO Consulting to prepare and support a PA DCNR C2P2 grant application for up to $315,000 in matching funds for phase 1 of the Mayor’s Playground (mover: Sean Mundy; second: Bob Cumming) and approved Resolution 2026‑05 authorizing application signature.The council also unanimously adopted Ordinance 2026‑04 (substantive revisions to the Borough code, mover: Bob Cumming; second: Scott Haldeman) and Ordinance 2026‑05 (codification and renumbering, mover: Bob Cumming; second: Scott Haldeman). Additional unanimous motions approved HARB’s recommendations for property applications (148 East Marshall conditional on railing sample and other listed approvals). Motions to exit executive session and to adjourn were also unanimous.
