Commissioners approve HR software purchase, pass related IT/HR budget transfers
After an initial attempt to postpone, the court approved selecting and contracting for HR software up to $150,680 (4-1). The court also approved IT/HR line-item transfers on a 4-1 vote and elections transfers unanimously.

On Dec. 8, 2025, the Burnet County Commissioners Court approved the purchase and contracting authority for Human Resources software in an amount not to exceed $150,680. The decision followed an earlier motion to postpone the item to Dec. 23 that failed on a 2-3 vote.
