The Burnet County Commissioners Court voted unanimously on Jan. 27 to rescind the burn ban for unincorporated areas, effective 11:00 a.m. the same day. Emergency Management Coordinator Derek Marchio briefed the court before Commissioners Joe Don Dockery (mover) and Chad Collier (seconder) made the motion, which passed 5–0.
