DeWitt County Commissioners approved a series of temporary right-of-way permits for installation of temporary water lines across several precincts during Feb. 9 and Feb. 23 sessions.
On Feb. 9 the court approved a permit for Select Water Solutions to install two temporary water lines along Walter Mueller Road in Precinct 1. On Feb. 23 the court approved multiple temporary right-of-way agreements for Select Water Solutions to install temporary water lines along Jaeger Road, Gruenau Road, A. Metting Road, Gus Meyer Road and Gruenau Road in Precinct 3. The court also approved a permit application from EOG Resources Inc. for the installation of a temporary water line along Hahn Road in Precinct 1.
Motions were made by Commissioners Ryan Varela and James Kaiser on the respective items and carried on 5-0 votes. The minutes record approvals of the permits but do not include maps, detailed construction schedules or bond/insurance terms, which are standard permit attachments handled by the county permitting office.
The approvals authorize temporary installations; county staff will coordinate installation oversight, safety requirements and restoration obligations consistent with county right-of-way permit procedures.
