Cedar County awards $12.9 million contract to replace Cedar River bridge near Rochester
The Cedar County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a resolution awarding a $12,928,133.61 contract to Peterson Contractors Inc. to replace the bridge on F44 (290th St.) over the Cedar River near Rochester; execution of contracts was delegated to Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius pending required documents.

The Cedar County Board of Supervisors voted April 28 to accept the low bid and award a $12,928,133.61 contract to Peterson Contractors Inc. to replace the bridge on F44 (290th Street) over the Cedar River near Rochester. Chairperson Jon Bell and Supervisors Barnhart, Gaul and Kaufmann voted aye; Supervisor Bixler was absent.
