Park Ridge police receive ILEAP accreditation, honored at council meeting

Jolie Onis, chief of police for the Village of Lincolnshire and president of the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, presented the Illinois Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ILEAP) award to the Park Ridge Police Department during the City Council meeting on Feb. 17. Onis said the department demonstrated compliance with about 69 accreditation standards and praised Chief Bob Campworth and accreditation manager Tom Gadowski for the work that led to the recognition. "Hats off to Chief Campworth, Manager Gadowski," Onis said, urging the city to display the award in the police lobby.
