ARPA committee reallocates $1 million after Cicero postpones wastewater commitment
The committee moved to reallocate a $1 million ARPA commitment after the Town of Cicero declined to appear and said it was not ready to discuss regionalization while completing SRF/IDEM reviews. Commissioners said Cicero had not supplied requested documents and voted unanimously to redirect the funds.

County Attorney Sullivan told the ARPA Committee that the Town of Cicero asked to postpone its $1 million ARPA commitment while it completes required State Revolving Fund (SRF) and IDEM review processes and its Preliminary Engineering Report. "They respectfully requested their $1 million commitment be postponed to a later date," Sullivan said, reading the town attorney’s request.
