On insurance matters, Commissioners approved the Texas Association of Counties Liability Contribution Coverage and Declarations Proposal for $64,780 (motion by Frenzel, seconded by Martin). The court also authorized submission of a grant application to the Office of the Governor for the 2027 State Homeland Security Grant Program (LETPA) to seek metal-detecting equipment (motion by Commissioner Wayne D. Bubela, seconded by Commissioner Glenn Martin).
