Dale County Commission adopts 10‑year solid waste management plan
The Dale County Commission unanimously approved a 10‑year Solid Waste Management Plan on April 14, 2026, required by Alabama law and to be filed with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management. The plan covers Dale County and its municipalities and will serve through Jan. 1, 2035.

The Dale County Commission voted unanimously April 14 to adopt a 10‑year Solid Waste Management Plan and to submit it to the Alabama Department of Environmental Management. The plan, prepared by the county engineer following a public hearing and consolidation of citizen comments, was presented and approved as Exhibit 2.
