The Gage Development Coalition updated the Gage County Board on the county’s planned mobile/web app, Gage Connect, during the Feb. 18 meeting.
Caleb Fjone, executive director of the Gage Development Coalition, said the app will be available under a county admin function so county staff can add or remove events, emergency notices, tourism spotlights and other community content. The platform will include a “Communities” section for towns and villages and an AI assistant named “Gage” intended to help users find information. Fjone said the app is still in development and that the coalition expects to take Requests for Proposals for web development as the launch approaches.
County officials did not set a launch date at the meeting; the presentation was informational and intended to brief the board on functionality and next procurement steps.
