The Daniel Planning Commission voted to approve a building permit for a new residence at 984 W Valley View Road after the Planning Director reported an outstanding water-service agreement and unpaid permit fees.
Planning Director Eric Bunker told the commission the Town has drafted a water-service agreement that had not yet been signed or submitted and that permit fees remained unpaid. Commissioner Heber Taylor raised a question about the proposed building's height and compliance with code. Commissioner Byron Horner moved to approve the permit with conditions that the applicant meet all fire-code and engineering requirements, resolve water-service issues, and pay permit fees; Commissioner Tim Jones seconded. The motion passed with the following recorded vote: Jones, yes; Horner, yes; Taylor, yes; McGeean, yes; Skinner, yes.
The approval is contingent on satisfying the enumerated requirements before final permit issuance.
