County counselor: draft MOU sent to Kickapoo Tribe; bridge easement work progressing

At the Brown County commissioners' Jan. 5 meeting, County Counselor Austin Parker said a draft MOU for Kickapoo Tribe dispatch services was sent to the sheriff, staff is finalizing a construction easement for Bridge FAS-51, and a Planning Commission term-expiration resolution will be ready next week.

County Counselor Austin Parker told the Brown County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 5 that a draft memorandum of understanding for dispatch services with the Kickapoo Tribe has been sent to Sheriff Merchant for review. Parker said the MOU is in draft form and staff are awaiting further action by the sheriff before the county takes the next step.
