The Sumner County School Board on May 19 approved moving forward with inclusive playground projects at Jean Brown Elementary and Station Camp Elementary and directed staff to pursue design and bidding for George Whitten as the next site. The vote follows months of committee work and several public comments urging faster rollout of ADA-compliant equipment.
