Community Development Director Stephan Metzger presented two special-event permit requests on March 30, 2026. The board approved Bike Race SE2026-01, scheduled for April 25, and approved the 9th Annual Alyssa’s Ride, SE2026-02, scheduled for June 13 at Easton City Park. The board voted to waive the $100 application fee for Alyssa’s Ride and directed that the permit language note roadways are used ‘as is’ and that participants assume the risk of travel on county roads. County Counselor Josh Ney recommended that language be included in the permit.
