Commission orders No Parking on Lecompton Road, repeals older resolution

The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners moved on March 30, 2026, to adopt Resolution 2026-008, repealing Jefferson County Resolution 98-20 and directing placement of ‘No Parking’ signs on both sides of Lecompton Road from US 24 South for 2,203 feet to 17th Street. County Counselor Josh Ney prepared the draft and the board approved the resolution unanimously after a motion by Commissioner Doug Walbridge and a second by Commissioner Richard Malm.
