Cottonwood County accepted state bids from SHI to buy three Lenovo servers ($32,370) and Windows Datacenter 2022 software ($42,912, payable over three years). The board also authorized the Parks Department to buy four cameras for Talcot Park.

Kelly Smith, Cottonwood County Director of Information Systems, told the board May 16 he wanted to separate the law‑enforcement computer system from the rest of the county and presented state bids for hardware and software.
