Library announces summer reading program with local incentives and $3,600 grant support

Library staff presented details of the upcoming summer reading program. The program’s national theme for the season was described (noted in the transcript as a themed reading initiative), and staff said last year’s registration reached about 1,400 participants with roughly 410 completions. Registration opened and the program will offer a series of prizes and kickoff events, with tote bags for families at registration and regular quarter prizes.
