Capital Projects Committee backs staff package of transportation projects for GNRC TIP submission
The committee voted unanimously to support staff-recommended transportation projects for submission to the Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC) TIP cycle, including a Main Street reconstruction segment and the Stop 30 Drakes Creek intersection; staff said the citys share under an 80/20 federal match would be about $17 million spread over several years.

The Capital Projects Committee on Tuesday voted to support staff-recommended transportation projects to submit to the Greater Nashville Regional Council for the 2026–2029 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The motion, moved and seconded during the meeting, passed unanimously after brief discussion about one project's description.
