Board approves two annexations and declares county drought emergency in 2–0 votes
The Curry County Board of Commissioners approved two landowner annexations into fire districts and declared a countywide drought emergency, each by 2–0 votes. The drought declaration asks the governor to recognize the emergency to unlock state resources.
