LAR, a national homebuilder, gave a concept presentation to the Cottage Grove Village Board on May 18 for a proposed 162‑unit single‑family neighborhood on a 68‑acre site bisected by Ridge Road. Company representatives said the plan would include two park sites, naturalized detention basins and a walking trail that they hope will connect to the regional trail network.
