Community Foundation reports grants, disaster-relief work and a co-ad blueprint after county contract
The Community Foundation of Nevada County told supervisors it has leveraged the county $250,000 contract to secure more than $550,000 in philanthropic support, incubated local programs, funded emergency warming shelter nights and produced a blueprint for a co-ad consortium to coordinate nonprofit disaster response.

The Community Foundation of Nevada County (CFNC) told the Board of Supervisors on May 19 that a county contract has helped the foundation attract outside funding and launch programs to strengthen disaster readiness and nonprofit capacity.
