Whatcom County panel: providers call for more housing, wraparound services and re-entry pathways
County housing staff and local providers told JPOP that demand for permanent supportive housing far outstrips supply, that many people exiting institutions face gaps in coordinated entry, and that solutions include more diverse housing stock (tiny homes, PSH, affordable housing), stronger wraparound services, and targeted re-entry pathways.
