The Cochise County Planning & Zoning Commission on March 11 recommended the Board of Supervisors approve a staff‑initiated text amendment (R25.05) to the county subdivision regulations that brings local rules into alignment with recent state law changes (Senate Bill 1286). The change would allow administrative approval routes for certain plats and transfer some administrative authority to the subdivision committee and the development controls officer, while retaining water‑adequacy determinations and application requirements.
