Commissioners authorize county administrator to reimplement employee handbook training
Board directed the county administrator to work with department heads to reissue the county handbook, implement training and verify employee acknowledgement after commissioners raised concerns that supervisors may not be consistently reviewing the handbook with staff.

Commissioner Dorsey raised concerns that Hart County has "gotten away" from consistent distribution and supervisor review of the county employee handbook. Members said employees may not be receiving or signing the acknowledgement sheets and suggested the county needs to retrain staff and reestablish routine supervisory practices.
