Dan Neighbors and Christine Baker presented the draft Vision Zero action plan update to the Arlington Transportation Commission, describing a multi-year roadmap the county intends to use to reduce serious and fatal crashes. Neighbors framed the work as a path toward the county's goal of "zero fatalities or serious injuries by 2030," and Baker outlined the process: an initial public-engagement round in October 2025, a draft released in April, and follow-up steps that would bring a finalized plan to the commission on July 2 and to the Board for advertising in July and adoption in September.
