Mr. Josh Payne, the district facilities presenter, told the Farmington R‑VII Board that an April 27 hailstorm caused widespread damage across school properties and that the district is at an early, but serious, stage of assessment. Payne said consultants walked nearly 800,000 square feet of roof area and indicated several buildings will likely need full roof replacements. “We’re going to be working on this for a couple of years,” he said.
