Superintendent highlights programs, testing progress and summer grants
Superintendent Roer and Dr. Lewis briefed the board on curriculum and operational updates: NWEA growth and testing schedules, a drone after-school program serving about 22 students, a summer discovery grant administered with 21st United Way as fiduciary, partnerships for teacher recruitment, and community events; the board also observed the passing of longtime volunteer Doug Sutherland.
