The council reviewed and approved three modifications to the 2026–2031 Transportation Improvement Program. Ben (program staff) described each request: Salt Lake County requested a scope reduction for a previously programmed signal interconnect project (reducing the number of intersections addressed from earlier estimates to 27) with no additional WFRC funding requested; a phase‑two enhanced striping project on Banger Highway was proposed to extend the work north to the airport with an estimated cost of about $4.7 million; and Leighton (Davis County) reported a design cost increase for a planned pedestrian bridge at the FrontRunner station that produced roughly a $3.8 million shortfall compared to earlier estimates.
