Dallas County adopts construction-evaluation resolution for confinement feeding permits
The Board adopted Resolution 2026-006, committing Dallas County to evaluate confinement feeding operation construction permit applications received between Feb. 1, 2026 and Jan. 31, 2027 using Iowa's master matrix and to submit adopted recommendations to the Iowa DNR.

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors on Jan. 2 adopted Resolution 2026-006 to adopt a construction-evaluation resolution under Iowa Code section 459.304(3), committing the county to evaluate confinement feeding operation (CFO) construction permit applications.
