Hampton council approves rezoning, annexations and budget amendment; multiple 4–3 votes
On Dec. 9, 2025 the City of Hampton council approved a rezoning (Ordinance 2025-30), annexation ordinance (2025-31), a FY25 budget amendment (Ordinance 2025-32) and other items; several decisions passed by 4–3 margins, with a 6–0 vote for a grease-management ordinance first reading and a unanimous move to executive session.
