The Colts Neck Township School District Board of Education approved routine agenda items at its July 31 meeting and heard an update from the superintendent on summer programming and preparations for the 2024–25 school year. Rolls were called for superintendent actions, curriculum items and finance items; recorded roll calls in the transcript show the listed members voting in favor and the motions carried.
The finance chair noted the district achieved a "zero tax impact" for local taxpayers for the coming year. The superintendent reported a "really successful summer bridge program," saying the program ran three weeks with "one of our highest attendance rates" and more than 100 students attending in the final week. The superintendent also described performances (including a Finding Nemo Jr. production), recent equipment removals and an upcoming campus cleaning as the district prepares for September.

The board scheduled a facilities tour for Aug. 5 (6–8 p.m.) to review infrastructure progress with the facility director, and a policy meeting is set for Aug. 12 with legal counsel present to review several policies. The board opened the public comment period and recorded no public speakers before moving to interviews and other business.
