Forensic center nearing completion; county reports contingency returns and schedule
County staff reported the Rutherford County Regional Forensic Center is about 90% complete on site work and that RC Matthews will return roughly $765,774 to contingency; crews target November for full completion and October for substantial completion punch list.

The county—s facilities director reported the regional forensic center site work is about 90% complete and interior mechanical, plumbing and electrical rough-in is roughly 95% complete. Storefront glazing and exterior wall panels are near completion, and the roof tie-ins and masonry work are finished. The director said there are no open change orders and that contractor and county teams expect to request substantial completion in October and finish work by late November.
