At its April 14 meeting the Foxboro Select Board approved several routine but governance-significant items, including a memorandum of agreement with the Foxboro Department of Public Works Employees Union (AFSCME Local 1702, Unit B) and multiple event and licensing items.
The board voted to approve the MOA that equalizes a small stipend between two employees in the Water and Sewer unit; officials said the change does not increase the town's overall liability. The board also approved the 2026 annual town meeting warrant and confirmed FY27 commercial parking fees ($10 per spot for non-charity lots; $350 per spot for charity lots).
The board approved 15 one-day beer-and-wine license applications for a tapped beer truck at Nomy Farms Campground for multiple dates over the summer, approved a change-of-hours application to allow service to begin at 10 a.m. on Sundays for SB Patriot Place LLC (Splitzville Hall at the Moon), and accepted a $2,900 donation to the library for museum passes.
Board members noted administrative follow-up for licensing reviews and asked staff to ensure proper notifications and police review where appropriate.
