Board approves four student representatives after competitive selection

Marca Hower, senior adviser and strategy lead, described the student‑representative application and interview process and said the district received 61 applications for the position this year. Hower thanked teachers who submitted recommendations and described school‑level interview panels that included board members, activity coordinators and civics teachers.
