Town opens full-day camp registration and approves toddler program fee resolution

The park recently received a larger hot-water heater to handle rentals serving 40 to 60 people, officials said, which will accommodate a dishwasher and larger events. Parks presenter Danielle announced the town's first full-day summer camp registration went live on Jan. 1 and that the town had "already had almost 20 people sign up." Danielle also said the camp will allow hours roughly from 7:30-7:45 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
The board considered a resolution to adjust toddler program fees, noting a 5% rent increase from the facility owner (Lyle) had been factored into the proposed door-rate change. Danielle said the toddler program typically operates with a maximum of eight children per day and two teachers; the board moved and approved the resolution to adopt the fee increase so registration can open.
The parks committee also said it expects to present a master-plan recommendation by March or April following public surveys and listed operational ideas for managing parking at events such as the Milbrook Marathon.
