At the start of the session the commission completed organizational business for 2026: commissioners nominated and approved John Derwinsky as president, Mark Nelson as vice president and Tim Clayton as secretary. The commission also voted to retain Ashen Kyper Deciditis PC as its legal counsel and appointed Jim Hick as the commission27s representative to the Board of Zoning Appeals.
