County presenter says interlocal agreement will transfer Drainage District 5 territory and assets to Enumclaw

A county representative appearing during public comment said the county commissioners passed a resolution to enter an interlocal agreement that transfers territory and assets of Drainage District 5/5A that fall within the city limits to the city of Enumclaw. He said the drainage district was originally established to serve agricultural lands but the area has urbanized and now conveys stormwater from parts of Enumclaw to Newacom Creek.
