Wells Branch MUD reports 11.41% water loss; PFAS testing below traceable levels

Operator Crossroads reported a water-loss rate of 11.41% for the month tied in part to a leaking valve at Summit Drive and Thomas Sinclair Drive; staff expect reductions after repair. The district's PFAS screening showed the six EPA-regulated compounds below traceable levels. The Board approved two small account write-offs totaling $359.15.

Crossroads utility manager Dallas Worth told the Wells Branch MUD Board on Nov. 19 that the district’s water loss for the reporting month was 11.41%, and he attributed a portion of that loss to a leaking valve at Summit Drive and Thomas Sinclair Drive.
